Product Description
Castle Inertia Dampers (Counterbalancing Dampers) automatically balance airflow in different sections of the ductwork using counterweights or springs. They modulate blade position based on air pressure, maintaining consistent airflow distribution without manual adjustment. Essential for systems with variable fan speeds or multiple branch takeoffs.
Self-Regulating
Counterweight mechanism automatically adjusts blade position — no manual intervention or power required.
Fail-Safe
Gravity closes blades when airflow stops — prevents reverse airflow and backdraft.
Low Maintenance
No motors, actuators or electrical connections — purely mechanical operation.
Adjustable Sensitivity
