Product Description
Castle Smoke Motorized Dampers are electrically-operated dampers that close upon detection of smoke by the fire alarm system — preventing smoke circulation through HVAC ductwork. The fail-safe spring-return actuator closes the damper on power loss or smoke detection signal. Compatible with all fire alarm and BMS systems via 24V/230V actuators.
Spring-Return Fail-Safe
Actuator closes damper on power loss — guaranteed smoke containment even during electrical failure.
Fire Alarm Integration
Direct connection to fire alarm panel — closes automatically on smoke detection signal.
Low Leakage
Class II leakage per UL 555S — stainless steel jamb seals minimize smoke passage in closed position.
Dual Protection
Thermal probe at 72°C provides secondary protection independent of fire alarm system.
